MK Club Day - GT12 - National Shakedown

I visited the Milton Keynes Club for the first time today.  Although my road car was trying its best to mess up my plans I got there and was welcomed by a nice club full of friendly people!!

The plan was to shakedown a new car built for next weeks national.  I ran this car through qualifying and managed to TQ by 3 seconds with it with a really clean run over a fast Owen Smith and his new Zen car, and David Gale.  The new car felt precise and accurate so I chose to put that away to try my other car for the final.

I was happy with the final run.  It was super close racing on the small track, but the older car felt great too, although i accidentally left the gear ratio set for the national and at 71mmpr it got to 100degreesC.  Oops!🙈   I tangled with Mark costing a load of time though, otherwise the car felt good.  Traction was quite low.  I made no changes to deal with this on this car.

On my other car from qualifying, I raised the side damping from 12k to 15k, geared down to 65mmpr (still to high), raised the bodyshell to 7mm height at the front and reduced the additive amount to 12mm and only 4 minutes to help driveability.
