Day 1 complete - Lmp-12 National

The 13.5t lmp-12 and WGTR National day has concluded. This completes the season for both Saturday series too. 

I competed in both classes today, thanks to my friend George building me one of his hybrid WGTR cars. It uses many eclipse components so it was good to see how he’s done developing it. 

In lmp-12 13.5t, the day started out fantastically with having the fastest pace of all in practise. 2nd in q2, 3rd In q3 (and on the gird) then 5th in the final. 

Although the performance slipped slightly as the traction level came up (not usually the case) I was still happy enough with my result. The pace in the final was better after a few changes but I just drove  not so good..

I think I finished 4th in the championship with Ben and Adam making it 4th, 5th and 6th overall. I think we’re moving forwards so let’s see if we can be abit bigger next season!

In WGTR, it was great fun. I Tq’d 3 of 4, but George beat me in the last but it made us 1 and 2 on the grid so that was cool. In the final I made some mistakes but George romped off to take an easy win. This made him National WGTR champion! Well done mate...

Well done to Spashett for winning today, and the 13.5 championship..

Modified is tomorrow. I prefer this class to stock, should be fun!
